The Board of Accountancy is the state agency responsible for protecting the public by licensing and regulating certified public accountants and certified public accounting firms.  The Board is funded solely through fees charged to obtain and renew a license to practice public accounting and to sit for the CPA exam.

REMINDER: 2009 LICENSES EXPIRE JULY 1, 2009.

All licensees assigned an odd numbered license are required to renew their license online by July 1, 2009.  Firms renew every other year and are also due July 1, 2009 (online renewal will not be available for firms this year). The renewal information was mailed to you on May 20, 2009.

TO FIRM ADMINISTRATORS:  When renewing for multiple CPAs in the firm, have the CPA fill out the online renewal and certify their signature.  Once they hit the "Next" button then they will need to click on the "logout" button.  Their renewal application will then be available for the firm administrator to login and pay for all renewal applications that have been completed.  Therefore, the administrator will only have to key in the credit card information one time to renew the multiple licensees due to renew in 2009.

On 6/23/09 we received a few additional AUD section scores of the exam. On 6/22/09 we received some of the second wave of scores for the FAR section and a few additional AUD section scores of the exam.  On 6/19/09 we received some of the second wave of scores for the AUD section of the exam. On 6/17/09 we received some of the second wave of scores for the REG section of the exam. On 6/15/09 we received some of the second wave of scores for the BEC section of the exam for the April-May testing window.
