Instate Initial Firm License Application Requirements |

This section provides requirements for firms wishing to open a public accounting office in Kentucky.
Effective August 1, 2012 all sole proprietors are now required to register as a firm with the Board. Click on the following form Sole Proprietor Initial Firm License Application (PDF Format - 523K) fill it out and return it to the Board office with a $100 check payable to the KY State Board of Accountancy.
